Resolving a dispute in a family

 There are many alternatives to going to Court such as mediation, mutually-agreed parenting plans, or even informal arrangements.  

Agreeing Arrangements

You do not have to go to court to sort out arrangements for the child and can make try to agree arrangements. You may want to write to the parent with whom the child lives requesting contact or to try to reach an agreement.

If you cannot agree

If you still cannot reach agreement, you will likely need apply to the court using Form C1 and paying the application fee.
