LLM/MSc /PG Dip/PG Cert in Corporate Law, Computing & Innovation  

 

The LLM/MSc Corporate Law and Computing Masters degree is a practical and highly innovative programme designed with high levels of industry input and with industry placements available.  It will develop the students’ knowledge of the intersection between corporate law and legal technology/computing to make for a highly sought-after graduate in this emerging area.

In particular, it will enable students to identify appropriate applications of legal technology in practice, to understand the strengths and weaknesses of competing algorithmic approaches, and to apply techniques in data science and data analytics to optimise legal business processes.  Modules are available in both law and computer science, and, depending on the preponderance of credits in either area, the student will graduate with either an LLM or an MSc.  The course is available for full-time and part-time study.   

Firms are Increasingly seeking lawyers and legal professionals with computing skills or technologists with corporate legal skills.  This unique course provides you with the skills that are attractive to employers and will make you stand out from other applicants.  Within the course you have the unique opportunity for exposure to practitioners who will teach on the course, competitive prizes and placements with leading international legal and technology firms.  

Students also have the option of an earlier EXIT from the course with a Post Graduate Diploma or Post Graduate Certificate in Corporate Law, Computing & Innovation.
